It is an observable fact that we lose hair at regular intervals. The hair falls down after its growth cycle comes to an end. Apart from the natural hair loss that we experience everyday, there are other ways in which hair is lost. It is essential to find hair loss remedy because it causes a lot of psychological disturbance to lose hair and makes a person appear not so presentable. One other way in which people lose hair is owing to mechanical stress on the scalp and hair. Tight braids, pigtails or tight rollers cause stress as the hair gets pulled up. This can cause scar on the scalp and may lead to permanent loss of hair. Hair care products like hot oil treatments and chemicals may cause severe inflammation of the hair follicles and may result in scarring and hair loss subsequently.
Caution: you must remember that hair loss may be the early indication of a much more serious problem like diabetes or lupus. Hence, it is imperative for you to consult your doctor.

Lets take a view at some of the important hair loss remedies
- If you are on prescription medication at present, consult your doctor and ascertain that the medicine is not contributing to your hair loss.
- Do not take excessive doses of vitamin A. Vitamin A consumption in excess can lead to hair fall.
- Carry out exercise, perform yoga, meditate or find some other means that will assist you in reducing your tension and anxiety levels.
- If you are a woman, get your hormones analyzed. If there is imbalance, consult your health care provider about possible bio-identical replacements for hormones.
- If you are in the habit of wearing cornrows, pigtails, using curling iron, hot rollers or hair dryers, try to change your hair style to the kind that puts less pressure and stress on the hair and scalp.
- If hot oil treatments or chemicals like those used in permanents are the cause of inflammation to the scalp, stop using them or at least, reduce the frequency at which you use them.
- Use shampoos and conditioners that are gentle on your hair in order to avoid unnecessary harm to your hair. In men, herbs like saw palmetto and licorice root help prevent the formation of DHT. It is the same for supplementation with zinc. As an additional benefit, studies reveal that these supplements can also help in the prevention of prostrate enlargement.
- Use rosemary oil in olive oil base to massage your hair. Both massaging and rosemary oil can stimulate blood circulation in he scalp and promote growth of hair.
If you are still experiencing hair loss, consult your doctor to make sure that a more serious problem is not the reason.
