If your hair loss resulted from taking medicines, the medication can be changed to something different that does not result in hair loss. It needs continuous monitoring. If the hair loss is the result of any illness, in some instances the problem could be self-limiting and hair will be restored once you stop taking that medicine. Propecia is another medication for the treatment of hair loss. This is used only in men. These medications may take up to six months to show any results of improvement. Even at that time, there is no guarantee of results with any hair loss remedy.
The most important aspect when you are losing hair is to consult your doctor. Before using any products on your own, you must understand the root cause of the problem of your hair loss. If it is a reaction to a medication or a symptom of a disease or illness, there will always be an alternative. Using medications for male and female type of baldness may work but taking the opinion of the doctor is before using the products is very important.
